Biography

Tyutrin Alexander Yurievich
Born in Leningrad on November 8, 1951.

In 1969 he graduated from the B.V. Johanson Secondary Art School at the USSR Academy of Arts.

From 1969 to 1975 he studied at the Painting faculty of the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, the workshop of the People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Yu.M. Neprintsev.

In 1975, he defended his thesis "Father" with an excellent grade. The painting was exhibited at the All-Union exhibition in Moscow.

From 1976 to 1978, Tyutrin was a postgraduate student of the Department of Painting.

From 1978 to 1983, he taught drawing in the workshop of Professor Yu.M. Neprintsev. Tyutrin's works are exhibited at All-Union (1975-1976, 1987, Moscow), republican (1977-1993) and annual city exhibitions of S.H.

Since 1979 – member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (Leningrad branch, painting section).

In the 1985-1990's, together with the artist Igor Fadin, he created a series of historical canvases dedicated to the development of the Far East by order of the USSR Academy of Sciences ("Yerofey Khabarov", "The First Alloy", "Construction of Khabarovsk", "Dersu Uzala"). Creative trips to the Far East, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk, etc.) Work with archival materials.

In 1990 – personal exhibition at the Union of Artists (Leningrad)

In 1991 – personal exhibition in Helsinki (Finland)

Since 1992 – active cooperation with galleries in Europe, Japan and the USA.

Since 1993 – collaboration with the Dutch gallery "Gerard". Participation in the annual spring and autumn exhibitions of Russian art in Holland and England.

In 2003, he was elected a corresponding member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Since 2004 – Associate Professor of the Graphics Department of the St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design.
