Biography

Smirnov Sergey, amateur artist. Born in 1962 in Bezhetsk, Tver Region. Mechanical engineer by education, graduate of the Leningrad Institute of Film Engineers (1989). Draws in the technique of oil painting with a palette knife. Genres: landscape, cityscape. Over the years, the passion for painting has grown into an almost daily need to express their emotions from the knowledge of the world around them on canvas. Later, a desire arose to show and give connoisseurs of art the results of their work. Member of dozens of solo exhibitions in his native provincial Bezhetsk and Tver. His artworks found their customers in Europe, USA, Australia, Israel.
