Biography

Ksenia Pogulai is a young Russian artist, a restorer of painting, a teacher.

She was born and studied in Moscow. Graduated from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Ilya Glazunov, Faculty of Painting Restoration.

Ksenia works in the style of realism, but not only reflects the reality in her works, she reveals her individual beauty from nature and the environment and opens up new sides, properties, shades of familiar things for us.
Creativity for the artist is a kind of transition to a parallel world, a world of color, colors, graphics and metamorphosis.

Ksenia works in completely different techniques: oil, watercolor, graphite, black pen, gouache, ink - all these materials demonstrate the diversity of the world of graphics and painting and allow you to see the work of Ksenia from different angles.

Most of the paintings were created during numerous plein airs. Such works retain the freshness of perception of the moment in which etude is born, because, despite the chamber format, it is able to convey the mood and atmosphere of the place that the artist captures.

"Love and beauty are powerful engines of the progress of the human soul. Let's love and do beauty, and beauty, as you know, will save the world! ", Says Ksenia Pogulai, and this is what she tries to reflect in her paintings.
