Bastrykin Viktor

Biography

Viktor Bastrykin was born in 1954 in Moscow.

In 1981 he graduated from Moscow Polygraphic University with the specialization graphic arts.
Bastrykin was always fond of drawing animals and plants and this knowledge embodied in the future in book illustrations. His carrier began with the illustration of books for children and later he drew a lot for textbooks and encyclopedias.
Bastrykin has illustrated more than hundred books of Russian and foreign authors, writing about nature and animals. Simultaneously with illustrating books the artist paints a lot. He also has the experience of wall-paintings.

Viktor Bastrykin is a member of International Federation of Artists (IFA).
Many paintings and drawings of the artist are in private collections of Europe and the USA.
