Biography
Igor Venskiy graduated from the Lunacharsky Art College.
After graduation, the artist honed his paining skills in Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Czech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Italia, Spain, Scotland.
Thorough immersion into the achievements of different painting schools resulted in winning the open tender of the City Museum of Glasgow for painting the portrait of the Lord Provost Alex Mosson. The mass media coverage and public resonance attracted VIP clients. Igor painted the musicians of the Royal Opera and the representatives of the noble classes, then-celebrities and politicians nearly worldwide.
You can see Igor Venskiy’s works of art in the Portrait Gallery of Glasgow City Chambers, The Museum of Celtic Art on the Hebrides Islands, the History Museum of Sochi, the Art Gallery of the Zimny Theater, the Administration of Rostov-on-Don and many other public places and privet collections worldwide.
Igor Venskiy held about 20 solo art-shows in Spain, Scotland, Russia, Poland, Hungary.
