Biography

My name is Elena Ushanova, I'm a professional artist from Russia. My passion for drawing and painting started at a very early age. As a child, I was more engaged in drawing than with playing. Therefore, the logical step was to enter the Surikov Academic Institute of Art in Moscow where I was educated about fine art.

Since 2021, I have been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Federation of Artists.
I love realism and use oil in my paintings. I am inspired by the world around me, and I find beauty in everyday life. I portray people through my interpretation of their relationship with the outside world. There are many animals in my paintings whose emotions and feelings I try to capture. Very important for me to touch the hearts of the audience with my art.
My artworks are in private collections in Russia, the USA, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands.
I have exhibited at various venues in Russia and participated in competitions. I am a finalist of the Russian Art Award 2021.
