Biography
Victoria Tsallati was born in the Russian Federation. The Caucasus is in the South of Russia where live representatives of about 60 nationalities, each with its own culture, its own history and its own language. As a child, I read a lot about the origin, religion and culture of the peoples of the Caucasus. I studied the history of costume, customs and symbols of the neighbouring nations. Since childhood I have been drawing portraits of the whole family, friends. People around me remarked a striking similarity. The love of drawing horses and animals also began at school. I have always been fascinated and excited by the noble and elegant appearance of the horse. In 2005 I studied painting at the University of North Ossetia in Vladikavkaz, Russian Federation. Participated in local exhibitions as an artist and photographer. For several years I worked in journalism in Russian magazines and on television. Today I live in Moscow and Dubai. The Arabic spirit excites me, in many ways reminding me of my native Caucasus. I want to get to know this region and create beautiful portraits. I really like the Arab passion for horses and falcons... and I feel a great need to create here.
