Biography


Maryat Shurukhova is a contemporary Russian artist.
She works in the oil painting technique, continuing and developing the traditions of the Russian realistic school, or rather, its "romantic realism" branch. Maryat Shurukhova's main genre is landscape. Among her numerous works, there are marine and urban landscapes, each of which showcases the natural beauty of various countries, including Crimea, Russia, Italy, Greece, France, and many others. She has been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia since 2009. Participated in group exhibitions at the Central House of Artists (2007-2012), participated in annual exhibitions in Yekaterinburg and Rostov-on-Don, collaborated with several galleries in Moscow. The artist actively participates in exhibitions in Russia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (Art Dubai), India (Art Mumbai), South Korea (Seoul, Busan and Masan). The paintings are in private collections in the UAE, Qatar, India, China, South Korea, Germany, Great Britain, the Czech Republic and Russia. Lives and works in Moscow.
