Biography
My name is Alisher Matchanov. I was born in 1990 in Urgench, Uzbekistan. My interest in art began at an early age, and I studied at Children's Art School No. 24 in Urgench. Later, I graduated from the P. Benkov Republican College of Art in Tashkent, where I received professional training in fine arts.
My primary artistic focus is watercolor painting, with a particular emphasis on portraiture. Through my works, I seek to capture the inner world of people, their character, life experience, and emotional depth. I am especially inspired by portraits of elderly individuals, whose wisdom, dignity, and connection to cultural traditions provide a rich source of artistic expression.
Today, I continue to explore the possibilities of watercolor, striving to combine realism, expressive color, and emotional depth in my artworks.
