Biography

Irina Anatolyevna Krechetova (born in Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Region) is a realist artist and member of the Union of Artists of Russia. She lives and works in Novosibirsk.
Education:
Khabarovsk Children's Art School.
In 1996, she graduated with honors from the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Department of Art and Graphics
For Irina, creativity isn't just a job, it's an important part of her life. "Painting is always with me. Even if I don't have a brush in hand, I'm painting in my head, imagining how to convey a particular scene, a phenomenon, or a state of nature in oil on canvas," says Irina. Her summer landscapes and vibrant still lifes are full of life and freshness. Seasonal flowers in glass vessels are repeated in various variations. Each time, the artist captures a new mood in her works.
Maritime themes are also a favorite subject in her paintings. Fishing boats in India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, ships in Siberia and Crimea, and yachts in the Mediterranean are all painted from life, during her travels around the world, or developed from sketches in the artist's studio.
Irina's works are in private collections in Russia, England, Italy, Holland, Denmark, France, and Germany, as well as in the collection of the Novosibirsk Art Museum.
