Knecht Aleksander

Biography

Alexander Knekht was born on July 31, 1957 in the city of Tomsk.
An architect by education.
Graduated with honors from TISI (1977-1982) with a degree in architecture of residential and public buildings.
Teachers at the institute: A.V. Indeikin, A.V. Ivanov, L.N. Kurilovich, L.I. Belyakova, G.P. Burtsev.
Diploma project: "Circus in the city of Tomsk" was awarded a diploma from the Union of Architects of the USSR at the review of diploma projects of architectural students in 1983.
The first teacher in the field of art, back in his school years, was the sculptor Sergei Ivanovich Danilin. Tomsk residents know his works. These are monuments to Arkady Ivanov, the Decembrist Batenkov. I learned a lot from him not only in the field of plastic arts, but also in the fields of drawing, watercolor, painting.
At that time, the mid-1970s, he took part in exhibitions of amateur artists.
He began exhibiting as a professional in 1985, when he got a job at the Art Production Workshops of the USSR Art Fund.
Participant of all-Russian, regional, regional and foreign exhibitions.
Numerous solo exhibitions:
Tomsk, 1987, 1991, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017; Podgornoye, Tomsk region, 1999.
Awards: II degree diploma of the 38th Regional Exhibition-Competition (Tomsk, 2016).
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998.
The works are stored in the Tomsk Regional Art Museum, in private collections, both in Tomsk, current and beyond.
