Biography

Kholodova Lilia Sergeevna
Born in 1971.
She is a native of the Arzamas-16 Scientific Town, now the city of Sarov.
Artist, designer, portraitist and icon painter.

I became interested in watercolor and portrait painting while studying at an art school under the guidance of an excellent teacher, Tatiana G. Rachkova.

1986-1990. Moscow Industrial Art College named after Kalinina, (embroidery designer).
The academic foundation in drawing and painting was taught to us by Kharitonov Egor Ignatievich.

She worked in icon painting workshops:
1993-94. Named after Metropolitan Peter on Varvarka St. under the leadership of Tikhomirova Kira Georgievna and Vyacheslav Borodin;
2001 at the Alekseevsky Monastery, Moscow.


I participate in various international and national exhibitions and Art festivals.
He teaches watercolor techniques at the Moscow Art Gallery and in the summer plein-air on the streets of Moscow and the Moscow region.

Most of the icons I painted are in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Balashikha.
In the Church of St. George the Victorious, to the right of the central altar, there is an icon of St. Nicholas, painted by me in 1994.

Since 1994, she has been raising four children, but she continued to draw for herself.

In 2008-2010. Higher School of Economics and Service (costume design, supervised by Svetlana Vladimirovna Rozum).
She worked as a designer and universal tailor in her private studio.

2020-2022 worked as a designer and marketer in social networks.
She created business card websites and promoted a mini business.

Since 2022, I have returned to painting again.
I actively participate in art exhibitions, contests and festivals.

I work a lot to order and write creative works.
I work in the genre of landscape, portrait, still life, I really like to paint flowers.
I take orders for portraits in the following techniques:
dry graphics; watercolor; oil; mixed media.

My creative principles.
In my work, I am very careful about what the viewer will take out of communicating with my paintings.
In particular, my goal is to touch the best strings of the human soul. To gently bring and tune the viewer, like a musical instrument, so that, moving away from my canvases, the person himself sounds with the fullness of feelings and sensations, according to the harmonious structure.

With my creativity, I try to help people turn towards joy and inner balance. I try to evoke positive emotions in a person, which cause a rise in vitality and hope for future well-being. The red thread in my work is warm and welcoming sunlight, in the form of intricate lighting, both in landscapes and in portraits.
