Biography

Natalia Bochkova was born on February 24, 1978 in Leningrad.
At the age of 12, she entered an art school. Most of all, I highlighted the drawing for myself, finding clarity and simplicity in it. The colors were confusing and unfocused. However, this did not prevent me from plunging into the field of painting 27 years later. Inspired by the iconographic works of the old masters, the ancient encaustic technique and the canvases of modern artists such as Van Gogh, Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter. The artist synthesizes the heritage and techniques of the masters in his work.

For a long time, Natalia worked as a graphic designer in a glossy magazine in St. Petersburg, collaborated with organizations and private customers. This was reflected in the desire to work in the digital painting technique and create prints for clothes, posters, series of postcards, etc.

Natalia does not stand still and tries herself in the technique of linocut, exploring the nuances of the old masters, enjoying the meditative process, being inspired by the images of nature.
In her work, Natalia highlights a series of works "Interiors of the Soul", in which she explores human feelings, experiences, emotions, moods.

The artist's works are full of inner light, transparency, and a light life-affirming principle, which is so lacking for people in modern reality. Natalia was surprised to find that her works have a therapeutic effect for a number of her customers - changing the state and space, contributing to a change in the perception of the world.
