Biography
Natalia Bocharnikova, 57, was born in Novosibirsk.
Enthusiastic about drawing since childhood, she prefers an abstract style with naturalistic subjects. In her work, Natalia uses mixed media, including acrylic paints, textured paste, gold leaf, and mirror chips, as well as elements of natural mirror embedded in epoxy resin.
She draws inspiration from nature and the emotions it evokes. Nature is an endless source of beauty, and the work of other artists encourages her to explore new horizons.
For her work, she chose acrylic for its color possibilities, while textured paste adds volume. Finishing touches, such as gold leaf and rock crystal, add uniqueness and depth. Despite her lack of formal art education, Natalia continually studies at master classes and perfects her craft. She received a certificate as a "master in the production of mirror paintings."
Although she hasn't yet exhibited, she is hopeful and plans to participate in the annual contemporary art exhibition in Krasnoyarsk and organize her own exhibition. Natalia's main goal is for her paintings to evoke strong emotions in viewers and allow them to feel the energy the artist imbued in them.
