Yana Apon is an experienced painter and photographer based in Russia whose works have been exhibited nationally. Through her art, she explores themes relating to life, death, religion, philosophy, futuristic concepts of a dystopian society, shamanism, mysticism, transcendental practices, as well as aliens and space. Apon's artistic practice is marked by experimentation. She most often employs acrylics, oils, ink, enamel, pens, and lacquer on canvas or paper.
