Shevchuk Vasiliy

Biography

Born in 1959, 6th of February in Yaremcha, Ivano-Frankovsky region, the Ukraine.

Studied in art school in Yalta, the Krimea since 1970 to 1971.
In 1975 completed a course of artist-decorator in Vinnitsa.
In 1994 graduated from Saint-Petersburg Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture, painting department under P.Fomin.

He is a member of the Union of Artists (Saint-Petersburg) 1996 y.

V.Shevchuk is a member of Russian Painter’s League and a participant of more than 100 exhibitions in Russia and foreign countries.

His works are displayed in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia, Europe and America.
