Description of the SETTLEMENT "BASE-17", 2077
"…The road, cracked with age, the bright afternoon sun and the cold, icy nights, and the seeds of the plants that had sprouted through it, rested against part of the planes fuselage. More precisely a small part of it, installed directly on the road. A sign with the words "STOP" on it and a man sitting with a gun in his hands pointed to the post of the settlement. It was the North gate of Base 17. The boy playing nearby testified to a fairly peaceful existence of the settlement, rare raids of raiders, robbers and mutants. Settlement was enough large and hilly, that would not to see his borders. The fence of metal sheets that had once served as the lining of aircraft, covered with barbed wire reinforced with concrete beams, was hidden somewhere far around the bend. The reception was cordial enough. In a nice, pretty girl, in overalls "people of the future", the guard did not see any danger…" (c) Bazunov Nikolay
