This sketch was made in 2018 during the "We are painting the Pokrovsky (Intercession) Cathedral" campaign.
We finished our work, handed it over and sat waiting for the announcement of the results, whose work is the best.
While waiting, I sketched two sketches of Red Square.
On the right is the GUM (large shopping center) building, built in 1893 in the Russian style (style russe) by architects Pomerantsev and Shukhov.
In the distance, on the left, you can see the silhouette of the hotel, which used to be called "Moscow".
