Yulia was born in 1969 and lives now in the old Russian city of Veliky Novgorod. And needless to say, the theme of domes prevails in the artist‘s works!
Three years ago Yulia began to work in the original technique of tea inlay on photos printed on canvas. This idea emerged as a word combination "tea-painting". These works are based on pictures of the beloved city and other cities and countries with the great history. It is rather a look at the architecture through nature. Nowadays Yulia’s works include interior pictures, lamps, clocks, screens. In each work the artist uses from three to 20 kinds of tea, that’s why her pictures have three-dimensional texture and preserve the "tea bouquet" quite long.
The artist’s works are in private collections in Russia, Italy and Germany.
