Gvildis Vera

Biography

Vera Gvildis was born in Moscow in 1983, graduated from the Dolores Academy “Stylist”, courses at the Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov “Painting and Graphics”. She is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR) and the Creative Association of Professional Artists "ART Nisha".
Vera is participant of exhibitions in halls and museums of Moscow and other Russian cities. Vera's paintings are kept in private collections in Russia and abroad.
Her works have many philosophical meanings: on the one hand, absolutism, brilliance, painting from the era of the “Sun King” (Louis XIV), which have been admired for centuries, and on the other hand, she explores symbols, emotions and objects through semi-figurative and abstract means.
This is what the artist says about her artist statement:
• I am inspired by a woman and her inner world
• I try to express all feelings and emotions through painting, all the disadvantages
turn into advantages by accepting yourself as you are.
• I paint in oil on canvas, sometimes I use acrylic.
• The idea of ​​my creativity lies in one main sense - to give energy not
no matter what.
• I convey all this through pure bright colors, so I work with oil, it
best suited for realizing my ideas
