A series of 12 paintings united by a common theme - the Maiden and the Unicorn. Inspired by the persistence and strength of the nature of a teenage girl, Masha Pervusheva, who for more than a year has been struggling with a terrible disease - brain cancer. The purity of the child and the powerful energy of the desire for life inspired these stories.
The mythological animal - Monoceros (or Unicorn) appears here to help the child cope with the illness and defeat it.
