The phenomenon of vampirism, from ancient times is the object of art. However, for many
centuries vampires were just a blood-sucking vampires. And only in the 19 th century vampires of fiction were radically different from the mythology of vampires, he was given a certain romantic flair, but in the theme of vampirism sounded sexy, sensual music. One of the first revolution in this vampire theme started in Lord Byron's epic poem «Gyaur» (1813).
But the decisive turn occurred already under the influence of Freudianism. Note, however, that so attractive to film and literature theme in the painting reflects much less. Probably because it is not so easy to find its original visual solutions - on blue eyes and blood-stained incisors fantasy, as a rule, does not go.
A. Semushin, as we see, has found its solution. The image of the vampire is not accented, but transsyurrealistichesky method maximizes the expressive to express the most intriguing -
a sensual aspect of artistic vampirism. This is especially true as the transformation of the object, in this case, the main character helps the manifestation of its deep essence.
