Artist’s creativity is the reflection of the world surrounding him, his sensitive, emotional feelings consisting of numerous senses and impressions refracted in his soul many times.
All his life is diverse, that’s why his works can be extremely contradictious, antonymous: either arrogant or submissive, ether cheerful or apathetically depressive, either mysterious or frankly straight-forward…
A still-life turns into a depiction. Containing some uncertain objects, it becomes a mood-still-life, immediate-still-life that depicts an author’s momentary, complex and unexplainably subconscious feeling.
They aren’t allegoric; they haven’t got any philosophic plot, they cannot be understood but only sensed, inspired, tried to be felt.
Associative-still-lifes, perhaps, - that is the exact definition that can more clearly characterize the individuality and associatively typical of all author’s art.
Vasiliy Bobrikov was born on the 20th of February, in the year of 1985 in Panevezhis (Lithuania). From his early age he began showing great interest in Fine Arts. One of the earliest survived to our days work made by the three-year-old artist is a painting on a shit of the dictionary “Solntse” (“the Sun”).
At present Vasiliy lives and works in Belarus, Vitebsk.
The artist’s works can be found in private collections in Russia, Spain, the USA, Latvia, Slovenia, the Ukraine, Great Britain, Belarus.
