From the evidence of Vincent’s brother – Teo Van Gogh – these are last words of the famous Dutch, whi, as it is known, committed suicide, being a patient of clinic for mental patients in Arle. The image reminds the pre-death mask, only made by transsurrealistic method. Van Gogh’s portraits made by A.Semushin are so expressive and sharply emotional that the news that they were painted by a person shared the ward with Van Gigh clinic for mental patients would hardly surprise anyone.
